Of course one side of Nürtingen is walks along the Neckar River with the Swabian hills on the horizon. Or the narrow alleys with medieval backdrops and picturesque corners - places which once inspired the famous German poets Friedrich Hölderlin and Eduard Mörike. History can be felt everywhere in the former old Württembergian capital.
On the other hand the city represents modern green roof architecture and local academic institutions which are experienced in green roof research. Further factors which make Nürtingen an outstanding location for the International Green Roof Congress are its close proximity to Stuttgart international airport (15 km), Stuttgart centre (30 km) and Tübingen (29 km).

The K3N in Nürtingen is an ideal choice for the 2nd International Green Roof Congress. The conference center offers premier facilities for over 400 delegates and state of the art audio visual equipment. Apart from the light flooded auditorium there are special rooms for small meetings and workshops. Foyers and galleries create a perfect opportunity for business talks and information exchange.
